The car is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and features a black convertible soft top. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, side air intakes, and flared quarter panels. The chin spoiler was replaced in June 2023.
The 19″ RS Spyder forged wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that have 2023 date codes. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The front CV axles were replaced in November 2022, and the left wheels were refinished in January 2023.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather and features heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with Porsche crest headrests. Equipment includes driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer, as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, and dynamic engine mounts. It was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Work in November 2022 included replacing the drive belt, tensioner, roller, and pulley as well as the battery and spark plugs.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The 997 Turbo S featured Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanically locking rear differential as standard.
