The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.2 Turbo to overboost temporarily, increasing peak rated torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to McKenna Porsche in Norwalk, California, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $186,020.
