All Silver Arrows were finished in silver metallic over two-tone Nappa leather, and features include the AMG Styling Package, a body-colored removable hardtop, a glass removable hardtop with retractable shades, a black convertible top, xenon headlights, OZ Racing 19″ wheels, power-adjustable heated seats, and cruise control. The car was first registered in New Jersey and remained there until 2010, when it was acquired by the seller and subsequently relocated to California.
The Silver Arrow Edition was launched towards the end of R129 production to commemorate the company’s early racing history in the 1930s. Each car was finished in Silver Arrow Metallic (777) and featured sculpted bumper covers, side skirts, and fender vents.
OZ Racing 19″ wheels with AMG-branded center caps are wrapped in 245/35 front and 275/30 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is provided by multi-piston calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. A set of stock two-piece 18″ wheels are included in the sale.
The interior is upholstered in two-tone black and silver Nappa leather on the seats, door panel inserts, steering wheel, and shift knob. Additional amenities include Birdseye wood trim accents, cruise control, heated and power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer.
Instrumentation is accented with engine-turned trim and includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft when new. An oil change was performed within the past year.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed automatic transmission.
