The 4.5-liter 1FZ-FE inline-six was rated at 212 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque when new. Maintenance carried out under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the spark plugs, radiator, coolant hoses, water pump, head gasket, rear main seal, exhaust manifold gasket, exhaust y-pipe, and battery.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and front, center, and rear locking differentials.
