The cabin features seats upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo, and Porsche Targa-branded floor mats. The air conditioning system was recharged in May 2020.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, an 85-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 80k miles. The speedometer was repaired and recalibrated in March 2018 and the odometer was reset to 78k miles by North Hollywood Speedometer & Clock in North Hollywood, California. True mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and ignition wires were replaced in November 2016 by Quad City Tech in Moline, Illinois, while work performed in May 2020 included installation of a Carrera timing chain upgrade kit as well as compression and leak down tests.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
