This 1978 Porsche 911SC Targa was acquired by the seller in March 2012 and subsequently underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment said to have included a repaint in red and an overhaul of the 3.0-liter flat-six including new pistons, cylinder heads, and camshafts along with fuel system work. Features include a rebuilt five-speed manual transaxle, white leather upholstery, a removable Targa top, fog lights, a tea-tray rear spoiler, power windows, a heater, and a JVC CD stereo.

The car was refinished in red paint with a contrasting black removable Targa top and roll hoop. The seller states that the rubber trim has been replaced.
Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs-style wheels with black centers and anodized lips are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at all four corners.
The interior features bolstered white leather-trimmed seats with integrated headrests, matching door panels, and contrasting black carpets, floor mats, and trim. Features include power windows, a heater, a center console, and a JVC CD stereo.
A leather-wrapped Momo steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation with polished bezels including a centrally mounted tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges for oil level, temperature, and pressure, fuel level, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 101k miles.
The 3.0-liter flat-six is said to have been overhauled with replacement pistons, heads, cams, and fuel injectors and features a Fabspeed Motorsport intake box. The seller states that the fuel system and heater boxes were also rebuilt along with the wiring harness.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a rebuilt five-speed 915 manual transaxle.
