This 1973 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified with the installation of a Roush-supercharged 5.0L Coyote V8 linked to a 10L80 ten-speed automatic transmission, a twin-stick transfer case, and locking front and rear differentials. The body was refinished in mint green pearl, and the truck rides on a lifted suspension in addition to 17″ steel wheels mounted with 35″ tires. Further equipment includes a removable hardtop, Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, power-assisted disc brakes, LED headlights, power-deployable side steps, and custom-fabricated front and rear bumpers. Inside, the front bucket seats are trimmed in saddle leather and are accompanied by Vintage Air Climate control, Dakota Digital instrumentation, a Flaming River steering column, and a custom audio system.
During the aforementioned refurbishment, the truck was repainted in mint green pearl with body-color wheel arch fender flares and custom-fabricated bumpers. Details include a removable hardtop, LED headlights, and AMP Research power-deployable side steps.
White-finished 17″ steel wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ Kenda Klevar R/T tires. The front axle is equipped with Mile Marker manually locking hubs, and the truck rides on a lifted suspension that features Wild Horses springs along with James Duff radius arms and shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by a Wilwood master cylinder and four-wheel disc brakes.
The replacement front bucket seats and middle-row bench are upholstered in saddle leather with diamond-stiched inserted, and color-matching material extends to the custom-fabricated center console, door panels, and upper dash pad. Appointments include a Lokar shifter, Vintage Air climate control, a family-style six-point roll cage, a Kenwood head unit, and a custom audio system. Twin rear-facing seats are mounted to the inside of the tailgate.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a tilting Flaming River column and sits ahead of Dakota Digital instruments consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 349 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown.
The Gen 3 5.0L Coyote V8 is topped with a Roush supercharger. A Centech custom wiring harness and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan were installed.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission, a Dana 20 twin-stick transfer case, and slide-yolk heavy-duty driveshafts. The Dana 44 front axle and 9″ rear axle feature locking differentials and heavy-duty axles. A transmission cooler, a dual exhaust system, and a 23-gallon Toms Bronco Parts fuel tank with an electronic fuel pump assembly have been retrofitted.
