The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,600-rpm redline. An analog clock is mounted in the center stack along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit mechanical odometer is believed to have rolled over once and shows just over 8k miles. True mileage is unknown.
The 454ci Turbo-Jet V8 features a chrome air cleaner and valve covers and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The car is said to be fitted with a rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, PerTronix electronic ignition, a stainless steel 3″ exhaust with replacement mufflers, and rectangle outlets along with a replacement fuel tank, radiator, and battery. The engine is said to have been refurbished in 2014 and an oil change was performed in early 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and a positraction rear axle. The transmission is said to have been rebuilt in 2014.
