This 1968 Ford Bronco is refinished in Rangoon Red over red vinyl and black cloth and is powered by a replacement 5.0-liter V8 that was installed under prior ownership. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case, a Dana 30 front axle, and a limited-slip rear differential. Additional equipment includes aluminum cylinder heads, front disc brakes, 15″ slotted alloy wheels, a removable white hardtop, and dual fuel tanks.
Finished from the factory in Rangoon Red (J), the truck was repainted in approximately 2018 and features a white grill and removable hardtop as well as chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and a receiver hitch.
The 15″ slotted alloy wheels are mounted with 235/75 Michelin LTX M/S² tires, and a matching spare is affixed to a swing-away rear carrier. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The suspension was overhauled and dual shock absorbers were added during the refurbishment.
The interior was refreshed as part of the refurbishment and features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in red vinyl with black cloth inserts.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a half horn ring and fronts a column-mounted tachometer as well as a 100-mph speedometer encircled by gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The replacement five-digit odometer shows 2,900 miles.
A replacement 5.0-liter V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1987 model and installed under previous ownership. It features an aluminum radiator and cylinder heads in addition to a PerTronix Flame-Thrower ignition coil and aftermarket exhaust headers.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case, a Dana 30 front axle, and a limited-slip rear differential. The truck is equipped with dual fuel tanks.
