This 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible is finished in Tangelo Pearl over a black interior and is powered by a rebuilt 400ci V8 mated to a Muncie four-speed M20 manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15” chrome wheels, a power antenna, air conditioning, and a factory stereo.
The body is said to have been refinished in House of Kolors Tangelo Pearl during the refurbishment and features a replacement black soft top. Exterior details include hideaway headlights, a chrome rear bumper, a power antenna, GTO badging, a rear spoiler, and polished trim and rocker panels. Work performed during the refurbishment included replacing the soft top hydraulic motor, cylinder, and lines in addition to installing Dickster Company mechanical electric hideaway headlights.
Chrome 15″ wheels wear 245/60 front and 295/50 rear Hankook Kinergy S/T tires. The seller states the suspension is lowered 1″, and the front calipers, pads, and rotors, drums, and brake lines were replaced during the refurbishment.
The interior was reportedly refurbished and features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes GTO-branded floor mats, air conditioning, lap belts, and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo. The air conditioning system was reportedly replaced with a Classic Air system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a coolant temperature gauge mounted beneath the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 90k miles.
The 400ci V8 was rebuilt and reportedly bored .030″ over before being fitted with a performance camshaft. The seller states a 750 Holly Carburetor was installed, and the engine work included replacing the pistons, crankshaft, bearings, camshafts, roller rockers, pushrods, valves and springs, and oil pump.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed M20 manual transmission and a positraction differential with 2:56.1 gears.
