This 1966 MG MGB GT is a white-over-red coupe that was acquired by the seller in 2001, and it is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The banjo-style steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles.
The 1.8-liter inline-four is equipped with dual carburetors and Coopers-branded air cleaner covers, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Recent maintenance is said to include replacement of the battery, motor mounts, and clutch components along with an overhaul of the cooling system, which included replacement of the water pump and fitting an expansion tank. The seller also notes that a spin-on style oil filter has been fitted along with a battery kill switch.
