The 15” black steel wheels are fitted with polished wheel covers and wrapped in 205/70 Firestone FR710 thin whitewall tires. The car rides on adjustable hydropneumatic suspension that was fitted with replacement spheres and hoses during the refurbishment.
The cabin was refurbished under previous ownership and features red leather upholstery along with matching door panels and carpets and a black dashboard. Shoulder belts are fitted for front oLupants, and equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, and a recently-installed Velex digital head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. The passenger-side window mechanism is said to have been repaired under current ownership, and the seller notes that the seatbelt warning buzzer continues to sound when the belt is clipped.
The single-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a display with warning lights. A replacement instrument panel was reportedly installed during current ownership. An analog clock and auxiliary gauges are housed in the center stack, and the five-digit odometer shows 19k miles.
The 2.7-liter quad-cam V6 was sourced from Maserati and factory rated at 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. The short block was overhauled, and the carburetor and starter were rebuilt during the refurbishment. An electronic distributor is installed, and a gasket on the fuel gauge sending unit was replaced under current ownership. Additional work at the time of the refurbishment completed in 2019 included the installation of a replacement timing chain, belts, tensioners, hoses, and points.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
